Watchmen in West Africa!

January 2019 saw Watchmen International’s first venture into West Africa in order to hold a Spiritual Transformation training course. Roger London went to Kailahun in Sierra Leone (see map below) at the invitation of Ali and Lorraine Patience, who are now members of Watchmen’s UK Board. Ali and Lorraine previously lived and worked in Kailahun and are continuing their involvement through Maranatha Christian Outreach Ministries.

Around 60 pastors and leaders, from both Sierra Leone and neighbouring Liberia, came together for 8 days of intensive training, culminating in a vibrant graduation ceremony:SL Graduation Jan 2019

Clearly the Holy Spirit was at work with several testimonies relating how leaders had been impacted with the message of personal spiritual transformation in the light of Jesus’ soon coming.

During our visit to Kailahun we had the opportunity to visit and pray at the nearby border with Guinea, asking the Lord to also open up this nation to the Watchmen message and ministry.

Please be praying for the embryonic national team that has been set in place to continue the work in both Sierra Leone and Liberia under the leadership of Pastor Ken Fullah (Sierra Leone) and Pastor Edwin Borsu (Liberia).
